Trade Assistant

We have an exciting role available for an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to take on a versatile workshop based role. This is a great hands-on role using your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of construction equipment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Servicing, repairs and maintenance on petrol, diesel, and electrical equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Work within strict deadlines to ensure 48h - 72h turnaround
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Customer service and interactions
• Work well independently and within a team

ABOUT YOU:

• Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience
• Forklift Licence (preferred)
• Experience working with 2 and 4 stroke engines (highly advantageous)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic welding skills
• Strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace
